BACKGROUND:

Dr. Kevin K. Boeh (pronounced “bay”) rejoined U. Florida (Faculty, FIRE – Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate) in 2026 after being at U. of Washington since 2018. Prior to academia, Dr. Boeh was an investment banker executing IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) and M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions). His initial professional experience was in management consulting for both Kearney and Accenture helping growth firms prepare for capital markets outcomes while also helping clients with post-public and post-merger operations. After his M.B.A. in Finance at UCLA, he moved to a career on Wall Street. His investment banking experience includes hundreds of public and private capital raises and M&A transactions, though he focused on executing IPOs. He has helped hundreds of firms prepare for and execute public offerings, though he now focuses on teaching, research, and consulting activities related to IPOs. He currently serves on the board of directors of private companies, invests in venture capital, and is on the investment advisory board of a large public pension plan.
